The sun shone down on the flat surface of Lake Michigan. The water made light trickling sounds as it lapped lazily in the warm summer breeze. From the distance came the occasional squawk of a sea bird. I stretched my arms out behind my head, enjoying the warm sand beneath me. It was the first day of summer. A good day. One of the best days. I looked to my right and saw Shannon laying in the sand, her body more exposed than I normally got to see it. She was lightly bouncing her foot on one knee as she hummed one of the songs from the little mermaid. I turned to my right, and saw Ryan bobbing his head along to whatever Radiohead tune played in his large headphones.
I sat up slowly, stretching my arms above me. I could see many of the people I had gone to school with spread out around the beach, and in the water. Stephanie sat with Britney and Meagan, all of them laughing raucously at whatever piece of gossip Stephanie had just shared. Frank and Jessie were sprinting through the sand to catch a football thrown by Brad. Amy Minken lay on her stomach with her bra undone, getting an even tan. Ella was doing long, slow backstrokes through the water, looking like an elegant mermaid. Further away I could see Michelle and her coworkers splashing about in the water. Their large breasts bounced pleasantly as they laughed and splashed each other. Erin was sitting with Bobby Granger, smiling longingly at him. It all felt warm, and good, and right. It felt like home.
A puffy, white cloud started slowly moving across the sky until it made its way in front of the sun. As a dark shadow slowly spread across the beach, the people I knew and loved began to go with it. The girls in the water vanished into the waves. Erin and Bobby dissipated into shadow. Frank and jessie sunk into the sand itself, and then Stephanie and Britney were gone too. I sat up in a growing panic as darkness moved across the land, and people disappeared one after the other before my eyes. I turned to Shannon and saw her watching it with wide eyes. I turned to Ryan and saw a look of utter terror on his face.
“Jake, help me!” He cried. The shadow crawled across the sand like an angry tide. As it came closer, Ryan screamed out in terror. I tried to go to him, to help him. But it was too late. They were all gone. Everyone I cared about, swallowed by darkness and shadow. I looked back at Shannon, hoping she might still be there. She was. But when I saw her face, my skin ran cold. Shannon was gone. And in her place sat a stunningly gorgeous blonde woman. It was a woman I had only seen twice, but whose face I could never forget. Her cold, yellow eyes stared at me, into me, through me. I opened my mouth to scream, but no sound came out. I tried to move my body, but I was frozen solid. The witch leaned towards me with a chilling smile. Just as her unnaturally long, bony fingers reached me I felt my muscles release. I cried out in agony and in fear, and sat up.
“Jake!” Someone shouted in alarm. “It’s ok. You’re ok!” I tried to wrench my way free of the witch’s grasp. I could feel her cold talons on my arm. “Jake, Stop!” The voice cried out. I lashed out, and felt the fingers leave. “Go get the nurse,” someone shouted. I couldn’t see. All I knew was that the witch had me in her clutch. She had me in her talons. And she was going to rip me apart. For not doing as I was bidden. She was going to tear me to bloody shreds.
“No!” I cried out. “I won’t do it!”
“Jake, stop it!” But the voice wasn’t the witch’s. It was a voice I knew well. I opened my eyes, and saw bright lights above me, in neat rows. Lights. Hospital lights. I slowly turned my head, and saw Michelle sitting next to me, looking terrified.
“Michelle,” I said slowly, feeling dazed and confused.
“Yes, Jake. It’s me,” she nodded, tears spilling from her eyes. “You were just having a bad dream. You’re in the hospital.”
“The hospital,” I repeated groggily. My head felt all swimmy and heavy, as if I had been drinking too much. And I had, hadn’t I? I had too much to drink, that’s all. It happens to the best of us. And at Ella Granger’s party no less. Just my luck. The first party I go to in years and I make an ass out of myself. And I had hooked up with Amy. What an awful ending that had been. But oh, how much worse it could have been. It was just a drunken bad night. The rest was all a dream. The witch, what she did to me, hooking up with many of the hottest girls I know, Ryan… all just a bad dream.
“He woke up,” Shannon’s worried voice said as she ran into the room. A young, pretty nurse came in after her and immediately went about checking things on the computer stand next to me.
“Shannon,” I said with a shaky laugh. “I had the worst dream.”
“It’s ok, Jake,” Shannon said. “You’re awake now. You’re in the hospital.”
“I didn’t mean to drink that much,” I chuckled.
“We know. It’s ok.” Michelle said soothingly from beside my bed. “You had a terrible shock.”
“Ella said you didn’t have much to drink,” Shannon said, which seemed odd. How would Ella have known how much I drank? Was she keeping an eye on everyone at her party? And why would she be talking to Shannon?
“Ella?” I said slowly. The grogginess was slowly wearing off, but my fog of confusion wasn’t.
“She’s back at her house,” Michelle said, and gently placed her hand over mine. For a split second I could feel the terrible, icy talons, and then it was just Michelle’s soft, warm hand again. “She said to call her whenever you feel up to it.”
“Call her?” I said. “Why would she want me to call her?” That didn’t make any sense at all. I had puked on her living room floor. Why would she want to talk to me? Although, perhaps she wanted me to pay for it. That made sense.
“She said she had a nice time on your date,” Michelle said. Our date?
“What? What date?” I asked. The only date I had ever gone on with Ella Granger had been in the terrible dream. But that was all just a dream. There were no witches. No dark magic.
“You and Ella went out last night,” Shannon said softly, talking to me as if I was in a state of shock. I slowly realized that I probably was. “You fainted in front of your house.”
“Ella came and got us,” Michelle added. “We were all really worried about you, Jake. You hit your head pretty hard.”
“What… but… how… what happened?” My words seemed to stumble and stagger. Michelle and Shannon glanced at each other, and I could see that they were both wondering what to tell me. “It was all just a dream, wasn’t it?”
“I don’t know what you were dreaming about, Jake,” Michelle said. “But… you fainted because you heard about Ryan.” It wasn’t a dream then. None of it. It all happened. And it was all my fault.
“Is he dead?” I asked in a rough, gravelly voice that made me wince. Michelle began to softly weep.
“Yes,” Shannon said. There were tears in her eyes as well, though she was managing to keep them in for now.
“How?” I asked, although it didn’t matter. I knew how he died. Even without the details, I knew. I had killed him. The witch told me there would be consequences, and there had been. Only I never would have guessed.
“He was riding his bike,” Shannon said, her voice catching slightly. “Down by the tracks. He got hit by a car.” The air left my body in a long, slow breath, and then I could feel the tears on my cheeks, hot and angry and moving fast. I wiped my cheeks, but the girls were crying too.
“It’s my fault,” I said grimly.
“No, Jake, don’t say that,” Michelle said quickly, squeezing my hand in hers. “It is not your…”
“Yes it is,” I interrupted her. My voice sounded distant and odd, and she didn’t argue. “I killed him.” The pretty nurse glanced over at that, but then went back to checking my pulse.
“Jake, you were out with Ella when it happened,” Michelle said. “The police know what time it happened. You were still in the restaurant.”
“It doesn’t matter,” I groaned. “I killed him. Not with a car,” I said before Michelle could protest again. “With my stupid cock.” Michelle and Shannon both looked surprised, as did the nurse.
“You both know what happened,” I said, ignoring the young woman taking my pulse with rather large, startled eyes. “Well, you both know enough, anyway.”
“It was her, wasn’t it?” Shannon asked. I nodded my head. “You decided not to go through with it, didn’t you?” Now the tears did spill from Shannon’s eyes. But she was looking at me not with sadness or anger, but with admiration. I nodded my head again. “And, that’s why it happened?”
“She said there would be consequences,” I said.
“Jake, what are you talking about?” Michelle asked.
“I saw her again,” I told her. “The day we…” I stopped myself before saying it out loud. “The other day. I met her in an alley.”
“In an alley?” Michelle sounded as confused as she looked.
“He chased the cat,” Shannon explained.
“Cat, what cat?” Michelle asked. “What are you talking about?”
“She told me I had to pay for what she gave me,” I went on, ignoring Michelle’s questions. “She told me I had until the dark of the moon to get a young, healthy girl pregnant, or else she would take it all back… and worse.”
“Take it back?” Michelle said, realization slowly dawning on her face. “You mean… your, uh… huge cock?”
“I’ll give you all some alone time,” the nurse said, somewhat uncomfortably, glancing from me to Michelle. “Let me know if he has any complications. But he seems to have settled.”
“Thank you,” Michelle said with red cheeks. The nurse hurried out of the room looking rather flustered.
“The witch gave me an order,” I said. “And I decided not to go through with it.”
“Why?” Michelle asked.
“Because Shannon was right,” I said, looking over at her. She was still looking at me with admiration, but she said nothing. “That woman is evil. That’s clearer now than ever. She wants a child for evil reasons. And I’m not going to give it to her. I guess the price of that was Ryan’s life. And maybe more. Who knows?”
“More?” Michelle looked panicked now. “What do you mean, more? Jake, you’re not making any sense.”
“Yes he is,” Shannon finally spoke. “He’s making more sense than he has in a long time. He’s being the Jake we all know and love.” I smiled sadly at her, and she smiled back.
“But… what do you mean, more?” Michelle asked again. “You mean, like, more people might die?”
“Maybe,” I nodded slowly. “I don’t know. I didn’t think anyone would die in the first place. I thought she would just take back what she gave me. And if she had to take more than that… well… I guess I assumed she would take it from me. Now I don’t know what to think.”
“But what are we going to do?” Michelle nearly shouted. “How are we going to stop her?”
“I have no idea,” I said truthfully. “I doubt we can stop her.”
“But we have to! If she’s going to kill more people we have to stop her!”
“We will,” Shannon said with an air of grim fortitude. The way she said it made Michelle and I both look at her in surprise.
“But how?” Michelle’s eyes were wide and terrified.
“I don’t know,” Shannon had a fire in her eyes. They looked almost… “But we will,” she finished.
At that moment there was a light knock at the door. We all looked over and saw Deputy Kolinski standing there. He nodded his head sadly to us as he entered the room.
“I’m sorry to interrupt,” he said apologetically. He sounded much different than he had when he had been questioning me at home yesterday.
“It’s ok, officer,” Michelle said, and got up to greet him. She stood and shook his hand. His eyes did a casual drop to her breasts as he let her hand go.
“I need to ask Jake some questions,” Deputy Kolinski said. “If he’s feeling up to it.”
“I don’t think…” Michelle began.
“It’s fine,” I said before she could finish. The deputy walked over and sat where Michelle had been a moment ago. Michelle looked concerned, but she slowly left the room. Shannon stayed in the corner, out of sight. The deputy didn’t seem to notice her presence.
“Jake, was Ryan who was with you at the hooters the other night?” Kolinski asked in a not unfriendly way.
“Yes,” I nodded slowly. He took out his notepad and began jotting things down.
“What can you tell me about that night?”
“Nothing you don’t already know,” I sighed.
“Did Ryan throw the rock through Mr. Santucci’s windshield?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“It doesn’t matter now.”
“Jake, I need you to be straight with me here,” Kolinski said seriously.
“He did it because that guy treats the girls there like shit,” I said truthfully. “We had been drinking, and Ryan wanted to impress the girls.” Kolinski nodded his head slightly as he jotted it all down. He seemed to be able to wrap his head around that easily enough.
“And Santucci knew it was him who did it?”
“Yeah,” I nodded, trying to hold back my tears. “Is he who hit Ryan?”
“We don’t know yet,” Deputy Kolinski said. “There’s an investigation, but right now we don’t have any witnesses. Jake, do you know of anyone else who might have had a grudge against Ryan?”
A grudge? Why sure, officer. The Witch. She must have done it. She had plenty of motive. You see, Ryan got laid because of what she gave me. I know that seems absurd, but it’s true. I have such a big cock now, and I’m such a great lover, that I managed to not only fuck all of the chicks at my sister’s hooters, my sister included, but I even got Ryan laid too. We had a big old orgy. Big tits, officer. Great big tits everywhere. Ladies going down on each other. Very sexy stuff. You should have seen it. But Ryan told me not to go through with it, you see. Go through with what, you ask? Why, giving the Witch a demon baby. I decided I didn’t want to be a part of whatever evil that might bring into the world, and Ryan agreed. So, obviously the Witch has all the motive in the world to kill Ryan. It all makes perfect sense, officer. Surely you can see that.
“No,” I shook my head. “He didn’t have any enemies. Everyone at school barely notices us.”
“Is there anything else you want to tell me, Jake?” He asked. It was almost like he could tell I knew more, but also that I wasn’t going to spill.
“No, that’s all,” I sighed. Deputy Kolinski shut his pad and returned it to his breast pocket. He stood up and patted my shoulder lightly.
“I’m sorry, Jake.” He said. “We’ll do all we can to find whoever did this.” I just nodded my head. He began to leave, and then stopped.
“By the way, my daughter, Britney, she said to say hi to you.” He added. For a moment my heart skipped a beat. I looked over at him, trying not to panic. I could tell that he still didn’t know it was me he had chased out of his daughter’s window, and managed to nod my head in thanks. He nodded again, and then walked out. As he left, Shannon emerged from the shadows.
“What was he talking about?” She asked.
“Me and Ryan hooked up with the girls at Michelle’s work,” I said, letting out a long sigh as Britney’s dad left. Shannon looked at me in shock, but I felt too exhausted to properly explain or apologize. “We used the witch’s gift. He got laid because of it too. And then we both agreed that I shouldn’t go through with it. That’s why he’s dead.”
“Jake, we still don’t know what really happened,” Shannon frowned.
“I don’t need to know,” I said angrily. “I know it was her. She gave me an ultimatum. I chose. And now Ryan is dead.”
“Did he really break someone’s windshield?” Shannon seemed more shocked by that than the orgy. I nodded my head. “That doesn’t sound like Ryan. He was always afraid to even throw rocks at bottles down at the tracks.”
“He wanted to impress the girls,” I sighed. “One girl in particular, I think.”
“Who?
“One of Michelle’s coworkers,” I said. “One of the twins. Her name is Mindy. I think they had a nice time together. It even seemed like they might date. At least that’s what Ryan thought.”
“And… this all happened because of… your…” she trailed off.
“Yeah,” I nodded. “It was Ryan’s idea. He thought that maybe Natalie hyping me up to the girls there might give us some type of opportunity. He thought maybe he could take advantage of it too. And he was right.” My voice cracked, and I looked away from Shannon before the tears could start flowing again.
“Jake, no matter what happened to Ryan, we do need to do something about this woman,” Shannon said seriously.
“The Witch?”
“Or whatever she is,” Shannon nodded. “You said before that you weren’t even sure if she was from earth or not.”
“I’m not,” I said grimly. “I’m not sure of anything anymore. She could be anything for all I know. A Witch. An alien. A demon. A monster. It all seems the same. Something beyond me. Something I can’t grapple with.”
“Maybe you can,” Shannon said, and I looked at her in surprise. “Maybe we can.”
“How?”
“I don’t know,” she shrugged. But I could see a sort of determination on her face that wasn’t usually there. “But we have to try. For Ryan.”
“Ok,” I nodded, feeling the slightest twinge of optimism. I still had no idea what to do or how to do it, but just the thought of doing something made me feel better. And knowing I had someone who would stand beside me made me know I had to at least try. “What do we do?”
“I’m not sure,” Shannon sighed, sounding frustrated. “I’m going to go to the library. Maybe I can find something that will help us. In the meantime, you just rest up. Your head seems ok, at least by your standards,” she added, and I chuckled. “So they should let you go tomorrow. The dark of the moon is still three days away. Come find me as soon as you’re out. And we’ll try to form some kind of plan.”
“Thank you, Shannon,” I said, and she looked at me in surprise.
“For what?”
“For coming back,” I smiled sadly. “You were right, you know? I knew it as soon as you walked away. Ryan did too. He even said so. We both agreed you were right. I’m so sorry, Shannon.” The tears began to well up in my eyes again, and I could see the same happening in hers.
“Shut up,” she said, and lightly punched my shoulder. “Get yourself better. We have work to do.” With that she got up and left, leaving me alone in the hospital room. Michelle came back a moment later, still looking panicked and terrified.
“Where did Shannon go?” She asked with frightened eyes.
“She’s going to the library,” I told her. “To look for some clues, or anything that can help us figure out who the Witch is, and how to beat her.”
“Beat her?” Michelle sounded almost hysterical. “Jake, this is crazy. It’s all crazy. There is no such thing as witches, or dark magic.”
“But there is,” I said simply.
“Jake, stop it,” she said angrily. “This is all just in your head. None of it is real.”
“You know that’s not true,” I said. I could see that she wanted to protest further. “You’ve seen it for yourself. And felt it. Do you really think I’ve always been like that?”
“I don’t know,” she said softly, without any conviction. “Maybe. You must have been. You’ve probably been like that for a while now. And I only just found out.”
“Michelle, come on. You know that’s not true,” I sighed. “Erin was right, I do get hard from staring at you around the house. And you’ve all seen it. Did it look like it does now?”
“No, but…”
“And you know what Amy Minken said about me?” I went on. “About what happened at Ella’s party?”
“Yes, but…”
“So what are you saying?” I asked her seriously. “What do you think happened?”
“I don’t know,” she said loudly. “But it must be some kind of mistake. Just because you have a huge cock doesn’t mean magic has to be real!”
“Um, excuse me,” the pretty nurse said from the doorway. She was holding a tray of food. Her eyes were wide, and her cheeks were red. Michelle looked over, and turned away without addressing the girl. I gave her an awkward smile. “I’m sorry for interrupting,” she said, and hurried over to the bed. She placed the tray on the stand next to me. She glanced at Michelle, and then at me, still blushing. I met her eye as she bent down to the put the tray down, and she blushed deeper.
“Thank you,” I said, still giving her an awkward smile.
“You’re welcome,” she said, standing back up. “I’ll be back in about thirty minutes to check on you.” She said it almost like a warning. As if she were really saying, “hey, next time I come by, please try not to be talking about your dick.” I nodded to her, and she left the room. I turned back to Michelle, who looked to be in the thralls of a serious inner battle.
“It’s ok,” I sighed, and she looked up. “You don’t have to worry about it. Me and Shannon will figure it out. If we can,” I added, more to myself than to Michelle.
“But, what if you can’t?”
“Then I’ll deal with the consequences,” I shrugged. “And hopefully no one else will get hurt.”
“Jake, I’m scared,” she said with tears in her eyes.
“I know,” I nodded. “I am too. It will be alright, though.”
“How do you know?”
“I don’t,” I said, and let out a dry laugh. “But I hope it will be. Either way, you worrying isn’t going to make things any better. Go home. Tell Mom and Erin that I’m ok, and that I’ll be home tomorrow probably.”
“No, Jake. I have to stay here,” she said.
“No you don’t. There’s nothing to do here. I’m fine.”
“Jake, you are not…”
“Michelle, I’m fine,” I said seriously. “I need some time alone, to think. I promise nothing will happen to me, ok?”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes,” I lied. “Now go home. Get some sleep. And I’ll try to do the same.” Michelle still looked scared, but she slowly nodded her head. She got to her feet, gave me a light kiss on the cheek, and left. I lay in bed, thinking. I still didn’t know what we were going to do. But just the fact that there was a we felt good. Ryan normally would have been the one I would have gone to, but he wouldn’t have known what to do either. He was my best friend, but he was never a leader. It was Shannon who was going to get me out of this mess, if anyone was. She was the thinker. And if she couldn’t figure it out, well, then…
The nurse walked by again. I saw her peek over as she passed my room. She seemed to register that I was alone now, and stopped walking. She came over to the door, and poked her head in. She looked around, saw the room empty save for me, and stepped in.
“Did your visitors leave?” The nurse asked.
“Yeah,” I nodded. “They all went home. Do you think I’ll be able to leave tomorrow?”
“It’s not up to me,” she said. But then, “I think you will, though. You don’t seem to be showing any signs of brain damage. So, if you’re feeling better tomorrow, then…”
“Thanks,” I cut her off. She was looking at me with a strange sort of pity. There was a long moment of silence which began to feel awkward. I looked over at her and started to say something, when she beat me to it.
“You have a very pretty girlfriend,” she said, not quite meeting my eye.
“What? I don’t have a girlfriend,” I said, somewhat puzzled.
“But, that girl…” the nurse said.
“The blonde is my best friend,” I said, wincing as I said it. That was the truth now. With Ryan gone, Shannon was no doubt the best friend I had. “The brunette is my sister.” The nurse’s eyes got very big. She seemed quite startled to hear that.
“She… but…”
“I’m sorry you overheard us talking,” I said awkwardly. “We didn’t mean for you to have to hear all that. And we… we aren’t… it isn’t as bad as it probably sounded.” I finally spat out. “We’re just dealing with a lot right now. And we’ve always had pretty open communication. So, whatever you heard…”
“It’s fine,” she said in a higher voice than a moment ago. “I didn’t hear much.” But I knew that wasn’t true. She had heard Michelle talk about my big cock at least once, maybe even twice. I gave her another awkward smile, and she smiled back. She really was quite pretty. Her curly, short brown hair fell around her face in a pleasant way. Her round, rosy cheeks were cute in a homely way. Her eyes were wide and green, and had an innocence to them. And she had a pretty smile. The rest was hidden by her hospital scrubs.
“Well, I’m sorry anyway,” I smiled. She smiled back
“It’s really no problem,” she said. “I should get back to my rounds. Will you be ok?”
“Yes,” I nodded. “Thank you… um?”
“Susan,” she said, and stuck out her hand. I shook it. It felt soft and delicate.
“Susan,” I nodded. “Thanks.”
“Sure,” she nodded back. “I’ll come in to check on you before my shift is over.”
“Ok,” I said. She smiled at me again and then left. I watched her go for a moment, and then went back to thinking about what to do. I tried to think of different possibilities, and different angles of attack, or defense. I didn’t get very far, and ended up falling asleep before I could come up with anything.
I was back on the beach, and everything was covered in dark shadow. The once calm, lazy waters thrashed about angrily. The wind blew in strong gusts from the sea, throwing the sand violently into the air. I raised an arm to shield my eyes, and felt it being peppered by flying sand. Thunder cracked from somewhere over head, and I flinched down instinctively. Then I heard a deep, guttural laughter. It sounded primal, and inhuman. I lowered my arm and turned my head, and there she was.
The Witch’s platinum blonde hair flew out behind her like a giant golden halo. Her eyes shone like fiery stars, with a yellow so deep it blinded. Her perfect cheeks and jawline were all stretched to accommodate the fantastic grin stretched across her face. Her mouth was big. Too big. The lips were pulled back in an angry snarl. The teeth, so white, so straight, so…long. Fangs. Tiny drops of spittle flew from her mouth as she cackled her piercing laughter. Her arms were spread out and disjointed, like a pair of wings. They seemed longer than a woman’s arms should be. Her shoulders were broad, her collarbones pronounced. And beneath that… a pair of breasts that seemed impossible. To be so big, so round, so perky, so full, so utterly perfect; they were not the breasts of a human. No mere mortal could achieve such breasts.
My eyes looked down, and I felt all the blood rush from my body. Beneath her tight, toned abdomen and wide, shapely hips, between the smooth, muscled thighs, was a pussy that did not look like any other I had seen. There was no hair. But more alarmingly, there were no lips. None at all. There was simply a gash, as if she had been stabbed but did not bleed. My eyes went back up the hourglass, past her tight abs and utterly perfect tits, up the long, very long, neck, passed the terrible fangs dripping cold venom, up to the eyes. I stared into those glowing yellow orbs and felt myself being pulled in.
“Our son will rule this world, Jake,” the Witch said. Her voice seemed to have an echo. It carried over the wind and waves and thunder like it had its own current. “And it will be our son, Jake. Yours as well as mine. I cannot father a child any more than I can bear one. I need you, Jake. And you need me. Or don’t you remember?” The Witch’s hair had settled around her head again, giving her that sexy, elegant look. Her teeth were no longer fangs.
“You needed me, Jake.” She said soothingly. Her voice still seemed to reverberate in the air. “You always have. I gave you what you so desperately wanted. You were ashamed of your body. You were ashamed of what you had done. You were so very ashamed, Jake. You hated yourself. And I Changed all that. I Changed you, Jake. I made you the man you always wanted to be. I gave you what you wanted, Jake. And now it’s time for you to give me what I want.” This woman was not terrifying to look at. How could I have ever thought that? This woman was gorgeous. More gorgeous than any woman who has ever lived. Every bit of her looked the very visage of angelic perfection.
“All I ask is for a son,” she said as she leaned over me. Her huge, heavy breasts hung down in a way that seemed to defy physics. “Every woman deserves to be a mother. Don’t you agree, Jake? It’s not my fault I am the way I am. I didn’t ask to be this. I am what I am, and I work with what I have, as must we all. Mustn’t we, Jake? Mustn’t we all do what we have to do to get by. I want a son, and I need you to give Him to me. The host will not be harmed. You have my word.” Host? Her eyes had me transfixed, but that word broke through. It was not the word one would use for a woman carrying a child, but rather a disease. A virus.
“No one will get hurt,” she went on, leaning farther forward, her giant tits getting bigger and rounder as they hung over me. She seemed frighteningly tall. “It will be quick, and painless. I will even let the host go.” That word again. It sent a shiver down my spine. “The boy will be mine. I will raise Him. And He will be Great. You will watch Him and know, that is your son, your seed. A part of you will achieve that high greatness. And you too will be a king among men. Not in the way He will,” she added with a chilling smile. “But in the way you have so wished. My gift to you will remain, and be enhanced. You will have any woman you want. All of them. The world will be your oyster, Jake. You will suckle on its juices. You can even sire other children, if you like. On the women of your choice. As many as you please. Your sons will be the bastard brothers of Him. Your daughters, His wives. And He will shower His wives with treasures from this world and others, as He will His father. You, Jake. You will be Great as well. Give me my son, Jake. Plant His seed, Jake. And let the tree of Maleficence grow.”
The Witch touched my arm softly. I flinched at first, feeling the cold talons. But they quickly softened into warm, gentle fingers. Soft fingers. Nurturing fingers, moving up my arm, slowly. I stared into the Witch’s cold, yellow eyes a moment longer, and then blinked. She was gone. The dark, stormy beach was gone. I lay in a hospital bed, sitting up, sweating lightly. The soft movement continued on my arm. I looked over and saw the nurse, Susan, standing there. She looked up, saw me awake, and pulled her hand back. Her cheeks flushed red.
“I’m sorry,” she said, taking a step back. “You seemed to be having a bad dream. We were taught in nursing school to wake someone up very gently during a bad dream.”
“I’m ok,” I said shakily, not really sure that was true. The dream had been so vivid. “It’s just been a rough few days.”
“I’m very sorry about your friend,” Susan said. Her head was bent down in a shy sort of way, and she wasn’t quite making eye contact with me. “Everyone is saying he was a really nice guy.”
“Yeah,” I nodded, trying not to tear up in front of her. “He was. And it’s my fault he’s dead.”
“I… um… I heard you talking to your, um… sister. She said that you weren’t responsible for it. And I’m sure she was right.”
“Thanks for saying that,” I smiled sadly. It didn’t matter what anyone else thought. I knew the truth.
“Um,” she began, and then stopped. She seemed to be struggling not to say something she wanted to. “I’m sorry to pry.”
“No, it’s ok,” I sighed. I felt too emotionally exhausted to care anymore. Let her ask whatever she wanted. What could it hurt? “You can ask me.”
“Well, it sounded like you were talking about magic,” she said shyly.
“Yeah, I guess we were,” I nodded.
“Why?”
“Something happened to me,” I said. She looked quite interested, and I wondered how much to tell her. “I met… um… a witch, I think. I don’t know what she was. But anyway, she changed me.”
“Changed you how?” Susan asked with sparkling, curious eyes.
“Uh… it’s sort of hard to explain,” I said. But that wasn’t true. The change was pretty simple. It’s just not the sort of thing you tell a stranger. But this woman did seem very curious to know.
“I’d like to hear it,” she said. “If you want to tell me. If you don’t, I understand. But, I’m curious. How did this… how did she change you?”
“Well,” I sighed. “She changed me physically, and sexually.”
“How do you mean?” Susan looked puzzled at that, and a little put off.
“Before I met her, I was a normal guy,” I said plainly. “Now, I’m not. I’m… different, now.”
“Different how?”
“I’m changed. My… uh… I… I’m just different now,” I finally said.
“Do you mean your…” she hesitated a moment, and I saw her eyes flick down to the bedsheet covering my body. “I, um… I heard your… uh… your sister… she mentioned that you have a… a huge cock. Is that what got changed?”
“Yeah,” I nodded, feeling a little startled at telling this complete stranger so much of the truth. “I’m really big down there now. Like really big. And that’s not even all. She made me a total dynamo. I can go for hours. I shoot crazy big loads. Since it happened, I’ve been with some insanely hot chicks. And I’ve made them all cum.” Susan’s cheeks were flushed again, but it looked different now. She had a sort of twinkle in her eyes as she stared at me.
“Wow,” Susan said, and her voice sounded breathier than a moment before. “That’s pretty hot.”
“Yeah,” I nodded in agreement. “But it turns out it wasn’t a gift. It was a curse. The Witch wants payment.”
“Is that why you think she killed your friend?” Susan asked.
“Yes,” I nodded. “But not as the payment. For denying the payment. She asked me to give her a son. She told me I have to get a healthy woman pregnant by the dark of the moon. That’s in just three days now. And when I don’t deliver…”
“Why does she need another woman to carry her child. And if she’s really a witch, then why does she want a baby anyway?” …Our son will rule this world…
“I don’t know,” I said, feeling coldness creep through my body again. “And I don’t care. I’m not going to find out. I’m not giving her a son.”
Susan looked into my eyes for a long moment, seeming to take the measure of me. For a moment it seemed like she actually believed. And then she burst into laughter. I smiled wanly, and then joined in her laughter.
“Wow,” Susan said as she wiped away a tear. Her body hitching in hiccup as her laughter died down. “I’ve never heard anything like that before. That’s quite some story.”
“Isn’t it?” I laughed. “Witch’s and dark magic. Sorry. I can get carried away sometimes.”
“Well, I thought it was great,” she smiled at me. “Very creative. And I doubt every part of that story is made up.” Her eyes flicked back down to the bed sheet covering me. Her lower lip moved slightly, and then caught in the pinch of her teeth. I glanced down, saw that my cock had formed a rather noticeable bulge in the sheet at some point, and looked back at her.
“Well, I guess it isn’t all made up,” I shrugged, smiling confidently at her. A sexy giggle seemed to escape her involuntarily. She looked behind her at the empty hall, and then back to me.
“My shift is over in about five minutes,” she said. “Let me go check out, and then I’ll come back and find out how much of your story is true.”
“Ok,” I shrugged. She giggled again, and then left the room. I let out a long sigh as she left, wondering what I should do. I knew what I wanted to do. Susan was cute, and sexy too. And the fact that she was my nurse, and me her patient. Here in the hospital. It was a damned fantasy come true. But I had already gotten someone killed. The Witch wanted what I wouldn’t give her. And everyone I involved could have to pay the price.
But there was no reason to think like that. None of the girls had been harmed. The Witch took Ryan because it wasn’t his gift, but he enjoyed it anyway. And after tasting the fruits of the tree, he told me not to water it. He partook, but didn’t reciprocate. No one else had gotten hurt. And why would they? I was the one in danger. In three days I would either be dead or cursed. But until then… I still had what she gave me. It was still mine, to do with as I please. Why shouldn’t I fuck Susan’s brains out? She wants it more than I do. As long as I don’t get her pregnant, it will make no difference. It’s just a bit of fun on the way down.
Susan came back, and then shut the door behind her as she stepped in. She turned to look at me, and the look in her eyes removed any last reservations I might have had. She walked slowly into the room, bringing one foot over the other in an exaggerated but sexy way. She reached behind her, and slowly pulled the string on her blue hospital scrubs.
“Have you ever fantasized about being with a nurse before?” She asked sexily. I nodded my head with widening eyes. “I thought so,” she smiled. “Most guys have. And yet so few get to experience it. But if my suspicions about you are true, then you’re in for a very good time.”
“What suspicions might those be?” I asked with a cockiness I never would have dreamed of a week before. She reached the side of my bed, and slowly reached out. Her hand moved along the bed sheet covering me, feeling along the length of my hardening cock. She let out a sexy moan, almost a purr. Then she stopped. She reached back, and pulled the scrubs from her upper body.
Her body was not as spectacular as some I had seen just lately, but it was still very sexy. Her body was lightly freckled from her shoulders down to her belly. The freckles on her pert, perky breasts were sexiest of all. They were by no means big breasts, but they had an excellent shape to them. And her pink nipples pointed up at an angle few women could achieve. I reached out and felt one with my hand, and she moaned again. Her hands went back to feeling me up over the sheet. She gripped at my cock through the thin white sheet, feeling its girth. Then she reached up and pulled the sheet off of me.
I looked down, expecting to see my big cock slumped over and waiting for her touch, but instead saw a hospital gown, though it was tented out nicely halfway down. Her smiled widened as she saw it, and then she reached down and began slowly pulling the gown up my body. I felt little chills on my legs as their cover was removed. Then she pulled the sheet up to my cock. She let out a deep breathy exhale, something between a gasp and a laugh. Her eyes darted to mine, and then returned down. Her smile grew larger. She pulled the sheet further up my body, so that my cock was fully exposed. It lay slumped over one thigh, as I had expected, looking as big as ever.
“Wow,” Susan said with proper appreciation. She took it in one hand and lifted it up, and then brought her other hand down as well. She began stroking it with both hands. She was leaning forward, bent over me, pushing her perky tits together and out, making them look bigger. They jiggled nicely as she stroked my cock with both of her hands. Then she bent down and wrapped her lips around the end. She didn’t bother even trying to take more than the tip. Her tongue played with the tip of my cock as her lips held onto it tightly. I had received some truly world class blowjobs in recent days, and Susan just couldn’t stack up.
